Sporting high, swooping rooflines inspired by Balinese and Toraja architecture, Panviman perhaps aims for an exoticism that could just as easily have been found locally. The well-built, comfortable rooms and villas come with private VCD and MP3 players, satellite TV, plus large semi-outdoor bathrooms containing a mini-waterfall, tub and separate shower.
While Panviman's flagship property was a midrange hotel on a remote beach on Ko Pha-Ngan, the latest project on Ko Chang has been planted in one of the island's more popular beach areas and is aimed squarely at well-heeled tourists with a taste for Balinese resorts. The 50-room complex offers a range of amenities and services designed to keep guests moored at the resort for the duration of their stay, including a spa, sauna, library, wedding programs and kayak rental. An indoor/outdoor restaurant serves Thai and international cuisine, and there are also nightly seafood barbecues and a bar with live music. Note that the resort is not located right on Hat Khlong Phrao, though the beach is a short walk away.

Location. Panviman Koh Chang Resort is located on the beach in Ko Chang, close to Klong Plu Waterfall, Klong Prao Beach, and Kai Bae Beach. Other points of interest are Ko Chang National Park and Lonely Beach.
Resort Features. Panviman Koh Chang Resort's restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A poolside bar and a bar/lounge are open for drinks. Room service is available during limited hours. Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool, a children's pool, a sauna, a fitness facility, and a steam room. The property's full-service health spa has massage/treatment rooms.
