Hello fellow travellers,

My husband and I (30 years old) cannot decide where should we go after our 10 days Safari: Zanzibar or Mafia Islands? Where is the best snorkelling spot?

We have 8 days at our disposal, would it be too much doing both or better stick to one of the locations?
(also interested in visiting the Stone town, taking a cooking class.

Please share your experiences and tips for accomodations.

Cheers,

A.

Hello! In September I will be travelling alone in East - Northern Tanzania and Southern Kenya. I don't have everything planned yet but for sure I will go to Zanzibar, Dar es Salaam, Arusha and Nairobi. I would like to go on a budget safari for few days and I am looking for some people to share safari with. Also all the tips about which safari agency to choose will be very appreciated. If someone is planning to go on a cultural safari to visit tribes and looking for someone to share costs I would…

Hi,
I’m planning to do Mount Kilimanjaro trekking through Lemosho route for 7 Days and safari trip for 10 days in Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Ndutu. I have been in Tanzania for nearly 8 months. But before I live I prefer to do two things, one is climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and the other thing is to visit Serengeti and spend some days. For Mount Kilimanjaro I have no problem but for safari i need your advice. I want to spend 10 days in Serengeti, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Ndutu.
I just…

Hello, in my next trip to Tanzania I would like to spend a handful of days in those locations.
Is it feasable to move through them using public transport?

I read about Dar-Bagamoyo dalla-dalla and about a bus from Tanga to Lushoto.
Can somebody confirm that?
Is it possible to reach Pangani and then Tanga without going back to Dar?
Any info you have on this route will be very helpful!

thank you :)

I am a single, female traveler planning a first-time safari in September or October, but I can always go at another time. I am really torn between Tanzania and Botswana. I would be interested in doing a mobile safari if I went Botswana. My budget is around $9,000, including airfare. I don’t need anything fancy in terms of accommodation. I am really going there to just experience the beauty of nature.

On one hand, I feel that the varied landscape and large numbers of animals in Tanzania is…

Hello

My and my boyfriend are looking for 2 more people to join budget Safari tour in Tanzania, November 2016.
We think about visiting Serengeti and possibly Ngorongoro, somewhere between beg and mid November.
We don't have a precise plan, we are flexible so we could also adapt to your needs :)
Let me know if you are interested!

Best

Aleksandra

I am a solo female traveler searching for a few others to join a 7 day Serengeti safari from January 9-15, 2017. I have completed a ton of research and reached out to a number of safari companies to gather price details. My favorite thus far is with Duma Explorer. I have customized the itinerary to include the following:

Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park. Game drive, overnight Tarangire Sopa Lodge
Day 2: Tarangire game drive to Ndutu. Game drive, overnight Chaka Camp (where the migration…

I would really like to go on a safari--long or short--in Tanzania (and/or Kenya), but I have a medical problem with my neck, which reacts badly to being jarred up and down. I am otherwise physically fit, able to go just about anywhere; and ordinary dirt roads are not a problem, nor have I had any trouble with jumping in and out of pangas in the Galapagos. Does anyone know of a safari which does not involve a lot of jouncing up and down on game drives? (The Disabilities Forum is not of use to…

Hello

I am thinking about going to Tanzania in November, as it is cheaper but I am worried that the rainy season is going to effect the whole experience, especially the safari. We plan to go to Serengeti and Ngorongoro and then to Zanzibar.

Do you think it is a good season to go? I have read that it is not recommended to go to Zanzibar in Nov due to the rain.

It's going to be the trip of my life, so I really would like it to be great. Maybe it is not worth saving money and go in October…
