    Viva la via via!

    typething recommends this,

    Definitely worth a visit.

I'm not a die hard fan of Via Via, but for the short stayer its well worth a Thursday night blast. Many volunteers and locals alike mix it up and party into the early hours. Its atmosphere is typically Tanzanian, laid back and relaxed outside a sometimes chaotic dancefloor!

If you want to get out of the insanity of Arusha for a little while, then escaping and stepping into Via Via by day is also recommended. The buffet is an unavoidable energizer that'll gear you up to face those feisty Arushan times once more.

    Via Via Nightlife

    ladevers recommends this,

Every Thursday there is a live local band playing a mix between Swahili and English music depending on the group. The cost is a reasonable 3000 Tsh enter. The songs are live and upbeat. Around midnight the band is switched to a D.J. who plays recent hit songs. There are two main areas, the covered bar with dance floor, and the outside area with grill and bar. The outside area offers freshly cooked meat, a bar, and a grassy area to just talk and enjoy the atmosphere. The inside area offers the bar, dance floor, and tables and chairs to sit around. The bartenders are great and drinks are fairly priced at 2000 Tsh for beer. Overall, this is a great place to meet travelers and locals, drink, dance, relax, and enjoy Arusha.
