This Arusha institution – ‘Chicken on the Bonnet’ – is an auto-spares store by day and a popular and very earthy barbecue by night, with a heaping spread of grilled, skewered meat and salads.

    best food in Arusha

    If you only eat in one place in Arusha make sure it's Kahns. I spend two years in Arusha and didn't find a better place to eat with friendlier staff and a truly authentic eating experience. Cannot recommend highly enough.
