Hi we are Laurens and Julie, a young couple (25 &28) from Belgium. We are planning to make a budget safari from Arusha end October, beginning of November. We would love to do a 4 or 5 day safari(our idea is to go to lake manyara, serengeti and ngorongoro starting from 31/10 or 1/11. But we are open to other suggestions. We didn’t book anything yet. We would either love to join another group or we are looking for people, 2 or 3, to book together and share the costs.
If you are interested or want…
We are a couple from Spain (34 years old) arriving at Arusha on 18th September. We would like to arrange a budget Safari for 5-6 days (Serengueti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and lake Manyara) and we would be keen on splitting costs with other travelers.
The idea is bargaining and arranging the Safari directly in Arusha on 19th september and depart the next day for the trip.
Please get in touch if you are interested!
I wish to hire camping gear such as two perons tents, sleeping bags, blanket and similar for three nights for our group either in Arusha or Mtu Wa Mbu while we do safari to Ndutu/Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.
Please let me know a reliable person with cost for same
I am visiting Tanzania in September 2nd week. My main focus is on Zanzibar. I have only two days left to spend in mainland. And i realize i can only make a one day safari. However i couldn't choose between Mikumi National Park and Tarangire National Park or Lake Manyara. I understand the cost of safari is $250 for all these places for a 1 day safari.
However Mikumi safari is totally a one day safari from Dar e salaam from early morning pick up to late evening drop. In case of…
I and my husband are bagpackers and are travelling to Tanzania in December during Christmas holidays on a shoe string budget. We are wanting to go for a safari to selous over serengeti as it is closer to dar e salam. We are looking for shared budget safaris for 3days from dare salam to selous and back. We are looking for price quotes pp for the same.
I am doing an 8 day intrepid safari from Nairobi, mostly concentrated in northern Tanzania. We are doing game drives in the Serengeti (3) and Ngorongoro Crater (1). I know December is the time of "short rains", I was wondering how much would this interfere with seeing animals? Is there any chance none would be seen?
Was recently in Tanzania and chose TroPeaks (Daniel and Thomas)as my company because of good reviews on here. I tried to post on tropeaks thread but it's locked by the moderator.
I emailed them and was very impressed with the speed of their response. We agreed pick up from airport to start Kili the day after arrival 31st of July with a group, then safari with another group and they'd drop me off at airport (I was on very short schedule). I also didnt want to do either alone.
I will visit Tanzania (Tarangire, Ngorogoro, Serengeti) in early to mid September. I heard that visiting the Massai villages can be a little disappointing because it is too touristy and commercialized. Does anyone have any information on that? If I was interested in visiting one, is there a particular one that you would recommend?
Thanks in advance!
Hello all! I've now finished my safari (sad face) and am in Moshi. Here is a review I wrote of my week with AAA Express Adventure. I hope you will find it useful. I had a wonderful week and saw as many elephants as I had been hoping for (a LOT)!
Review of AAA Express Adventure Ltd, August 2016
I booked my safari with AAA Express Adventure Ltd after spending many confused hours here in the Thorn Tree and on TripAdvisor trying to decipher real travellers from online touts or the “my friend has a…
