Hi everyone, I'm in a village about 70km south of Serengeti national park (on the Mwanza side), waiting my chance to see the wildebeest migration.
Does anyone know roughly when and where is best to see this? I'm traveling alone and would like to join any private groups using camp sites and going there for the migration.
If not, can anyone recommend a good safari operator? I'm traveling on a tight budget.
Huge thanks in advance!
Em.

I am doing an organized trip to Africa in July. The trip involves 1 D/1 N in Stone Town and 3 nights in Kendwa. Going to Zanzibar is an additional cost not included in the price for the trip. I am considering tackling Zanzibar on my own, choosing my own lodging and activities. Unfortunately, there isn't any way to contact the other people who will be on the trip to see if anyone else would like to go their own way while in Zanzibar.
Is Stone Town safe for a solo female?
Suggestions for must…

Hi
I am climbing Mt Kilimanjaro and my company doesn't have a safari going out when i return. I have heard it is prohibitive to go solo. Can anyone give my a recommedation of a company that i could join a group for a 3-5 day safari. I am available September 7, 2015. Would probably prefer budget to mid range.

Thanks,
Loren

helo, we currently planning to climb kilimanjaro in the month of August, though not my first time to climb kili but not on this route. am just wondering if you would like to join, I also understand when using this route there is conservation fee to be paid above the normal park fees. Any one with the idea would also help me as I am on the final stages.

Hi,
We are planning to do Kili in August Rongai Route, I understand there is extra fees to be paid apart from the Park fees for the conservation for those who are using this route, is that true and how much is that be? if you have used this route recently how much do they ask at Rongai Gate for the conservation?

Dear travallers,

I am currently in Arusha and in the second half of June, I plan to cross the Usambara Mountains by feet. Coming by bus from Arusha or Moshi, I think to start in Loshono or already at Buiko and to go eastwards. The destination will be Tanga.

I planed to spend 1 or 1,5 weeks walking as far as possible.

I am looking for advices for:
- a route
- spots/ villages/ view points/ markets etc not to miss
- accomodation (not only where to stay but also if I should take a reservation in…

Hi all. After a long time searching for others to join a safari in Tanzania, the trip is finally confirmed :-)

However I am flying in and out of Nairobi (spending a few days near the Mara as well) and so I am trying to work out what the safest way is for a solo female traveller to get from Nairobi - Arusha (and back). I know this topic has come up many times, but given the escalating security issues in Kenya I was hoping for some really up-to-date advice about the safest method of travel. I…

We are two dutch students who have been in Dar es Salaam the past weeks to collect data for our master's thesis. This Friday we will take the bus to Arusha, where we want to arrange a safari for at approximately 3 days. We are interested in Ngorongoro, Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Serengeti. We know we do not have time to visit al the parks but we prefer to visit at least two of them. We are open and flexible. We are looking for a group to join or other people who would like to join us because…

I don't think any review I write here will do this adventure justice. Climbing Kilimanjaro was an experience I will NEVER forget. In February 2015 after a lot of planning and organizing, my friend and I decided to climb with Top Climbers Expedition a small, local company run by Manase and it really was one of the greatest experiences of my life! The guides are SO funny and kind and caring and will definitely make sure that you reach your goal, whatever it may be. I will forever cherish the…

I would like to give you the possibility to read this lines from the Daily News:

This information is important for those, who always look for the cheapest company and forget, that when you get cheap, someone has to pay the difference.
