Getting there & away
To get to Beipu from Hsinchu, take a Hsinchu Bus Company (03-596 2018) bus, which you’ll find just to the left of the train station, heading to Xia Gong Guan (NT44, every 20 minutes). Forty minutes later get off at Jhudong () and then transfer to a bus to Beipu (NT23, 20 minutes, every 30 minutes). At the time of writing the first bus left Jhudong at 7am, and the first bus from Hsinchu to Xia Gong Guan left at 6.10am.
