Lonely Planet review
The best part of this venture is the grounds, covered in swaying palms, expansive lawns and tropical flowers and highlighted by a skinny stretch of white sand. The 29 functional thatched-roof bungalows, although they won’t knock your socks off, are tidy enough, and some units have terraces that command a turquoise lagoon vista; try for bungalows No 1–3, 7–8 or 11–13. There’s also an undistinguished motel-like building with 12 bland, fairly identical-looking rooms without much island flavour, but they may be an option if air-conditioning is important to you. The on-site restaurant overlooks the beach.
Our independent authors have visited Hotel Hibiscus and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Mo'orea.
