Lonely Planet review
Totally renovated in 2007, this upscale hotel is on what’s arguably the best beach on Huahine. Bungalow interiors are tastefully decorated with local art in soothing muted colours and all bathrooms (except in the rooms) have indoor-outdoor showers in private mini-gardens. Prices are very high for what you get and we’ve heard a few complaints about poor service, but this is an indisputably lovely spot. The restaurant gets bad marks but hosts some good Friday night dance performances – luckily the very good restaurant at Mauarii & Spa is a short walk away.
