Lonely Planet review
Renovated in 2011, Le Méridien is one of the best cures for winter blues – and the views of Mt Otemanu and the lagoon from your private terrace won’t let you forget it. The vast glass floors in the overwater bungalows are mesmerising, the boat-shaped bar is fabulous and the infinity-edge pool is adorable. Le Méridien is strongly involved in sea-turtle protection work. Though artificial, the beach has chalk-white sand and the water is so clear you can see fish darting about your feet. With 98 units, including 82 overwater bungalows, Le Méridien is certainly not a hideaway but it’s in harmony with its surroundings.
Our independent authors have visited Le Meridien Bora Bora and selected this as one of our recommended accommodation in Bora Bora.
