It is very nice place.Cosy and with a special atmosphore.You can taste a real swiss fondue here.Service is good and food is tasty.

You'll be hard pushed to find a more typically Swiss restaurant. Curiously, you can find loads of places like this outside of Zurich but I can't think of another one inside the city - it's almost like a themed restaurant for Zurich urbanites, only the theme is real. The central location is perfect and within walking distance of almost anywhere in Zurich proper. Inside, the pine furniture and traditional decor just avoids "twee" and embraces "extremely pleasant." The service has that combination of down-to-earth friendliness and effortless efficiency exclusive to Switzerland.

The menu is as Swiss as a bell-wearing cow eating a bar of Toblerone on a mountain pasture, yodelling and carving wooden toys with a Swiss Army Knife while guarding the Pope. Cheese, potatoes, salads, bread, schnitzel and plenty of meats in a variety of sauces. The quality of the food seems high no matter how simple the dish. The best indicator of this quality is the number of Swiss businessmen you will see entertaining foreign clients here - simple Swiss fare but just feel that quality. You might find the meals ever so slightly on the pricey side, but I don't think you'll be disappointed by the place. Unspectacular, unpretentious, this is tasty, satisfying, gemuetlich dining.
