Getting there & away
Trains run every one to two hours from Brig (Sfr50, 2½ hours), passing through Italy (bring your passport). Change trains at Domodossola.
Postal buses to the surrounding valleys leave from outside the train station, and boats from near Piazza Grande. There is cheap parking (per day Sfr3) along Via della Morettina.
