Osteria Chiara
Tucked away on a cobbled lane, this has all the cosy feel of a grotto . Ristorante Centenario
Although some think Locarno's temple to French haute cuisine is a trifle stuffy, this lakeside gem is a guarantee of fine dining. Making no concessions to anyone, even the menu is in French. Tuck into some carré d'agneau rôti au romarin (roast lamb cooked in rosemary).
