To get to Switzerland, we drove south through France from Paris, pass Bourgonne and to the Swiss border. Clearly there is a very similar culture between the two countries as everyone in Lucerne was both stylish and physically in shape. The shopping was also amazing; I of course bought chocolates, but had to skip the finer Swiss products as it would have eaten my entire budget. And speaking of budget, I had thought that the UK would be the only hiccup in my use of the Euro, but Switzerland is hanging on to the Swiss Franc.

Kneipp (pronounced k-nipe) understood the connection between mind and body and promoted the use of medicinal herbs, exercise, a whole foods diet, a healthy mind, and his most enduring legacy –hydrotherapy. Kneipp’s book, My Water Cure, was published in 1886!
