Funny Farm is halfway between a squat and an island shipwreck. The ramshackle art-nouveau house, surrounded by makeshift bars and a swimming pool, is patrolled by Spliff, the lovably dopey St Bernard. Dorms are a bit faded and musty, but guests don’t care; they’re here for the party and revel in such anachronism.
