Lonely Planet review for Mooncake

Stick a Hong Kong chef behind a wok and watch the crowds roll in. The inventive menu at this elegant Eastern hotspot includes crispy rösti crab and prawn cakes (Skr95) and the delicate drunken Szechuan duck with tamarind-chilli glaze (Skr237). It’s all sublime and complemented by discreet, near-perfect service.

    Great spot neglected by people

    mem_ceres recommends this,

For restaurants serving Asian/Chinese food, Mooncake is a great spot. The food is cooked and served with care and taste. The deco is calming and cosy. The service is warm, quick and not overpowering. Have been there for dinner twice and was shocked by how few dinners there were. i especially enjoyed the Vietnamnese spring rolls and the drunk Szichuan duck. The former served with fresh vegetables and herbs as the proper Vietnamnese way and the latter a taste of Hong Kong. They also serve Peking duck which was decent.

It's such a pity that it seems neglected by people looking for good restaurants in town. Easily reachable by metro, Mooncake is a great place for tasty Asian food. Recommended to all of you who enjoy trying good food. Price level is midrange, starters 60-100kr and main course 150-300kr. Dessert choices are a bit boring, but one would be so full by then anyway.
