  1. Blekinge Museum

    The extensive Blekinge Museum explains the local fishing, boat-building and quarrying trades. The most captivating part is Grevagården, an 18th-century house where each room is filled with thousands of contemporary objects, from thimbles to coffins. There's also a small baroque garden and a pleasant café.

    The Konstmuseet, once a seamen's barracks, is now a modern art gallery.

    The striking Marinmuseum is the national naval museum. Inside are reconstructions of a battle deck in wartime, a hall full of fantastic figureheads, piles of model boats, and even some the real thing - such as a minesweeper, a sailing ship and a submarine.
