Lonely Planet review for Solrosen

A 1970s survivor, this laid-back student favourite is a Haga institution (note the photos of passed-on regulars above the counter). Pay tribute over soulful vegetarian dishes and a bountiful salad buffet. For the best value, choose one of the hot dishes on the menu board, which also include the salad buffet in the price.

    Affordable yummy home-cooked vegetarian food

    An all-round great experience and the perfect place to come into from the cold. Meals include use of the salad bar and unlimited tea and coffee. The food was of the home-cooked by mum variety - warming, filling and delicious and served almost immediately. Price at time of writing was around 75 krona for a main meal - 7/8 pounds. Beers on tap and bottles of wine/beer available. Helpful and interesting staff and punters. Lovely laid-back atmosphere. Highly recommended.
