Lonely Planet review
Rooms at the design-conscious Avalon are packed with eye-popping Nordic design, bright colours, curvaceous furniture and flat-screen TVs. Some rooms feature a mini-spa or their own gym equipment, the hip resto-bar is an after-work hot spot, and there's a small rooftop pool. Downsides are the temperamental wi-fi and the below-par service. Book online for the best rates.
Our independent authors have visited Avalon Hotel and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Gothenburg.
