    Guided Tours

    The Elfsborgs Fortress is about 8km downstream from Göteborg. Boat trips and Guided Tours are run six times a day from mid-May to August by Börjessons. Tours depart from Lilla Bommen harbour, north of the train station. Most are free for holders of the Göteborg Pass.

    You can ride the narrow-gauge steam train Lennakatten 33km into the Uppland countryside. Schedules vary, so check online for updates. The trains depart from the Uppsala Östra museum station, in Bergsbrunnaparken, about 1km east of Uppsala Central Station.

    Liljeholmsbadet

    Housed inside a floating wooden pontoon on Lake Mälaren, this quaint little 1930s pool and sauna is a heart-stealer. Single-sex swimming days encourage Scandi-style skinny-dipping while the occasional live jazz and classical concert will add swing to your swim.
