My husband and I are looking to take a vacation around the 1st and 2nd week in September (dates aren't really negotiable). We would really like to do a live aboard learn to sail in the Grenadines, but I am worried about the weather since it will be hurricane season for most of the Caribbean. Can anyone give me some insight into the weather conditions for sailing in September? And the reliability of flights from the US at that time? We plan to fly through Puerto Rico probably using Liat.

Has any one taken the boat from St Vincent to Bequia?
I'll be there soon and want to see some of the other Islands in the Grenadines but i'll be travelling with someone who gets sea-sick and is "High-Maintainence".....(yes its my mrs!)
How long is the crossing and how rough is it?
Hey! I will be going with my boyfriend to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines in December for 1 week (for NYE) but I'm not sure in which island should we stay? I've read that Bequia and Union Island are beautiful, and that St Vincent is not as attractive as the Grenadines.
We like to stay in laidback places, with a relaxed vibe. Don't need all inclusives or clubs, just a couple of good restaurants and maybe somewhere to grab a drink at the beach or at night. We also dive. Our plan would be to see…
I just got back from a backpacker trip through Barbados, St Lucia, St Vincent and Grenada. As you would have guessed we met zero other backpackers during our three week trip and I guess I depends on the budget involved. It can be done cheaper than people think though and me and my wife spent 3000USD total excluding airfare. You can get flights between the islands with LIAT for under 150USD and we flew in from Europe to Barbados from London which was way cheaper than from other airports.
Hey all, I know it's been asked many times but does anyone have 100% confirmation as to whether there's currently a ferry running between any of the following countries: Trinidad, Grenada, St. Vincent &/or Barbados??
I tried ringing both numbers on the BEDY website but they're both out of service, so I assume they're not running. Are there any other ferries between any of these islands?
I'm flying to Trinidad on Friday and was planning on taking the ferry between them all (based on the BEDY…
From where can I get the cheapest tours to Tobago Cays? I know Dennis on Carricou charges US60.
How about the Jaden Sun? It´s out of service but what are the words down there about when it will be up and running? We are going in may and are almost dependent on an up and running Jaden since we are on a tight schedule. The other options only run twice a week in the southern grenadines.
