Me and my family are staying at the island for 1 month.
Our children are 1 and 4 years old, so we do not need action, but a quiet place with easy acces to grocery shopping and water.
We would like

- direct acces to a patio and grass (so not on 1st floor).
- a small kitchen.
Where on the island should we be located?
Any recommendations for a hotel/guesthouse which could…
Myself and a friend are arriving in St Lucia for two weeks this Tuesday. The first five days we are staying in Marigot Bay, then a few days outside the Capitol. We have no where booked yet for the last week. Any suggestions?
I'd also love advice on what to do in Marigot Bay. We are interested in snorkling, swimming, hiking and eating and drinking as much local food and beverages as we can! Would prefer to stay away from pricey tourist resteraunts. Thanks for your help!

some news really scare us, some other seem not to make you worry.
how is the situation like here?
do u think it would be a risk for us? on one hand we' r, or we try to be a bit confident 'cos it will be a cruise, but do you think that the visits of the island might be dangerous?
thanks in advance…
we are a couple from italy who will come to Saint Lucia at the end of February just for some hours, during a cruise in the Caribbean. We are two adventurous travelers as you can see in our blog: www.born2travel.it
This time we have had to choose a more relaxing thing 'cos my wife is pregnant and we can't do any hard activities.
Considering that we'll stay just few hours, from the morning till the evening, and that we don't wanna follow the groups of the cruise, what would you suggest to…
I am going to St-Lucia in December, but I am worry about the situation of the seaweed.... Can someone tell me what is it like now, is there some improvements, and what beaches (side of the islands) are affected and not?
Thanks to everyone for your help!
Hi! We are a couple with a 3 year old toddler. We are going to spend about 9 days in St. Lucia. I was planning on flying into the main airport View Fort in the south. I plan to spend 3 nights in Soufriere Pitons area and 5 nights in the north area of Gros Islet/Rodney Bay. Can you PLEASE help me regarding finding a hotel near Rodney and a hotel near the Pitons?
It will be around the beginning of September. No all inclusive. Seeking budget around $120 per night, not including any food. I…
I am travelling with my husband and my two boys to St Lucia on 10/08 until 24/08
Last Thursday I read on the news that the Tsunami Alert has been risen to "Orange" in the Caribbean Islands
We were looking forward to having a really "relaxing" vacation...
Is it still safe to travel? Has this happened before? Any comments/ suggestions?
