Introducing Around Castries

Going north along Gros Islet Rd from Vigie Peninsula the oceanside highway snakes its way to Rodney Bay. This stretch is far busier and more built-up than any other areas in St Lucia, but it’s not too hard to discover a few nooks that remain largely untouched by development.

On the southern shore of Castries Bay, La Toc Beach is well worth a peek (and a dip).
