Rosen Renaissance Hotel
Lonely Planet review
The smartest address in town, Rosen was designed for the businessmen who never came. The rooms, while pleasing enough, are very overpriced (though discounts come easily) and contain lots of marble and tack. The hotel’s best asset is the pool, which has an underwater music system – ask them to play the Jaws theme tune! Go for the room-only deal because if you take the B&B option, you get charged an additional Rs 1400 for a breakfast that only costs Rs 700 if bought separately.
Our independent authors have visited Rosen Renaissance Hotel and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Kataragama.
