The walls are an attractive clutter of old menus, posters, programmes and calendars at this highly regarded restaurant. Work your way through its magnificent menú tradicional , chalked up on the blackboard and constant for over a decade, where the dishes just keep coming and coming. Go down Calle Doctor Marañon, opposite the Corte Inglés department store, and La Gran Taberna is before you.
