I am travelling to Spain for the first time around May next year for around 2 months and I would like some travel tips!
I'm a young Australian girl and I will be travelling alone. Some of my interests include: art, history, beaches, theatre and dance, shopping! I am not so into parties/nightlife, such as... I would rather see a play or traditional dance than go to clubs! My Spanish is poor, but my French is okay so I like to think that means I could pick it up, and I would like to learn…

Hey everyone, I have seen the fabulous help and advice that you all so generously give and wondered if you could help me? I would like to visit Andalucia out of season. It needs to be in a school holiday so probably February, possibly Easter but then that's probably not so out of season then. I will be travelling with three children so needs to be pretty simple and easy to manage. We are interested in most things so they don't need kids amusements. We love the history, food and culture of a…
My Husband and I are currently living in Morocco. We would like to take a holiday in Spain and Portugal if the time permits. We live about 40 mins away from the Spanish boarder of Melilla. We have 3 weeks vacation and will be driving. Any recommendations of cities to visit? How many days to stay in each city? We will have enough time to visit Portugal as we want to visit cities in Spain first? Thanks!!
I wanted to say thanks for the help I received in planning my trip to Andalucia, Spain and the Algarve, Portugal. Granada, Cordoba and Seville were all amazing places to visit! I have put together a gallery of my best pictures from the trip - feel free to check them out:
Hi all I will be in Barcelona when they are listed to play Deportivo at the Nou Camp on 16th October I was wondering can I just turn up and purchase tickets at the stadium on the day as I don't think it will be a sellout ?
I have checked official Barca & Madrid websites and can't pre-purchase yet they only offer VIP packages so far.
I'm also hoping to catch Real Madrid play Athletic Bilbao on Oct 23rd at the Bernabau in Madrid my question is the same should I just turn up on the day and buy…
Hey there LP
(first time user here, so hopefully you all will go easy one me)
I'm planning a Euro trip next summer. (May-Aug) I'm very sports and outdoorsy inclined. This will be my first time coming to Spain. I have a more grand goal of touring the southern coast of Europe. I speak English and French, can get by in German, and understand a bunch of Spanish. Looking to get better in language.
As for my Spain segment - I am looking for advice on where to go or even travel buddies to meet up…
I will be in the above cities four full days each. Could you please let me know the best way to get around inside each of these cities? Do I need to get a tourist pass or buy seperate bus, tram tickets?
Are there also tourist cards/passes you can buy to get discounts to see tourist attractions?
After the recent events in Istanbul, I am having to re-plan part of our summer holidays :(
So, I am hoping to take my family to Spain (south coast) toward the middle/end of August, but really struggling to decide on a destination. Travelling on the journey with me are my wife, 5 y/o daughter and 2/yo son.
The requirements are as follows:
A family friendly/easy-access sandy beach with calm waters nearby i.e. short walk or taxi journey. Having other beaches, up to about 30 minute…
My partner and I are trying to plan a road trip through Spain and Portugal for june/ july 2017
We'll be in Paris and (would like) to make our way to the French Riviera > Bordeaux and begin our Spain/Portugal road trip in San Sebastian.
We want to hire a car either from San Sebastian or Madrid (depending on our France trip itinerary and where we end up in Spain first), drive to Lisbon and return the car to Barcelona.
We're not too strapped for time, but would enjoy the road trip…
