Supermarket sweep
Blog: Send The Bugger Back - 10 November 2009
I need to confirm this but my initial research indicates that the train to Madrid which takes about 90 minutes costs between 35 and 50 €, that’s ludicrously expensive. Buses look to be a lot cheaper but take ages so I’ll have to weigh it all up. The hostel is okay, the massive building has [...]

Unusual Things to do in Barcelona on holiday
Blog: Barcelona Travel and Living - 21 October 2009
You might want to visit Barcelona just to head to the beach and relax for a few days. Alternatively, you may be interested in spending a few days visiting every Gaudi attraction and site which time permits you to see. The Nou Camp Stadium tour and shopping are two other popular choices. You can though choose some more rather unusual options whilst on holidays.

Barcelona Metro System
Blog: Barcelona travel and culture - 20 October 2009
Getting around Barcelona is quite easy with a very good local transportation system in place in the city. There is so much to do and see in Barcelona that the idea of taking a day trip from Barcelona seems a crazy idea. Why visit outside of Barcelona when there is just so much to do and see in the city itself, including all of Gaudi's attractions, the beach and the shopping. Many people though love to get out of the big city for a day and their are in fact some good options.
