Lonely Planet review for Restaurante Las Lapas

Lying in the path of incessant horse-drawn traffic and, it seems, the whole of Seville's student population, you might find this eatery rather noisy outside and in. But sit back and enjoy the hubbub with a chorizo and potato mixed dish.

    DO NOT EAT HERE

    irelandlife does not recommend this,

Gosh, with so many excellent restaurants in this city, why would anybody eat here. The food was astronomically priced and absolutely appalling. Overcooked tasteless croquettas that can only have been frozen and microwaved were priced at 9 euro! - served with some really nasty soggy chips. The anchovies that were listed as being served with cream, lime and avocado came out as a tiny morsel (one mouthful) of salted anchovy on a bit of toast and tomoto, nothing more for €3. Everything else on the menu was €15-20 and above, and looked like it came from a British chippy! limp lettuce.
    Staff were downright rude.
I advised customers who were arriving as we were leaving to not take a step further inside, and thankfully they heeded by advice.
