This hotel is set around a grand 18th-century patio that is one of the most gorgeous in all Seville. So it's a shame that its guest rooms, which are set in a 19th-century adjoining building, aren't more impressive.
The Moorish-style foyer and breakfast area on the ground floor visually reference the Mezquita and are similarly spectacular to look at, but the guest rooms are stock-standard numbers that lack individuality and are in desperate need of some five-star spit'n'polish (the worn carpets and smallish bathrooms were particularly disappointing). They're comfortable enough, but verge on being overpriced. On the plus side, the hotel is in an excellent position between the cathedral and Plaza Salvador, and its service is highly professional.
