Unsurprisingly, me and Jimbo didn’t make it up for breakfast. So when the Finns arrived at about 14:00, food was our number 1 priority. We had some beaut tapas between us all at a local cafe. Chicken wings, some sort of minced spicy beef, chorizo and tortilla with potato in. Yummy yumsters. We were discussing what [...]

If they were to ever revive Room 101 and the acidic (in a good way) Paul Merton (who is married to Mrs Merton) was to say “Dan, what’s the first thing you’d like to propose goes into Room 101″, I’d say “Well Paul, reclining bloody chairs on coaches, trains, planes and any other communal method [...]

NEW New Plan!
Blog: Half - 23 October 2009
Okay, so where to begin…Almost exactly 1 year ago the economic crisis stole my life. I was living it up in Madrid with amazing friends, teaching English, tour guiding for Sandeman’s New Madrid and working as the Program’s Coordinator for Club Ivy, helping Spanish students apply to study abroad in English speaking countries. Life was [...]

Carlos took us to Retiro Park yesterday to check out the cool statues, but first we went for Tapas. Last night, his friends came over and we had dinner together. Also, (and forgive me for not having any photos,) two nights ago after the gym, we went to a bar called Casa Pepe which is where they serve Spanish beer in 1.60 €, 5oz glasses, and FREE chicken wings!
