This Irish bar lays claim to being the oldest bar in Madrid, dating back to 1789. Mentioned in La Fontana de Oro, the novel by Benito Pérez Galdós, the upstairs bar is dedicated in part to the author and it’s here that nightly Celtic or rock groups take to the stage at 10pm.
