The important info first: the food here really is good. If you intend to check out Los Diamantes, though, you should be fully armed with a few facts. First, the place is about the size of an average bathroom, and there are perhaps 4 tiny tables. The only hope is to wait around outside before this restaurant opens and try to get a table before the crowds show up (after about 8:30 pm, it's already hopeless). Otherwise, you're going to eat standing up with people elbowing you right and left as they walk to and from the counter (there is no table service), shout, and blow cigarette smoke into your face. It's plenty hard to find a decent restaurant in Granada that isn't packed or where you can have a peaceful meal, and Los Diamantes doesn't provide either. Go for the food, but know that the atmosphere is extremely hectic and not for anyone who hopes to digest in peace. The prices are high, as they are everywhere in Granada, and you may find yourself wondering, as we did, whether it was really worth it to pay that much to eat in such uncomfortable surroundings.
