We are going to Spain in Jan./Feb. and will spend last two weeks in Portugal, then returning from Malaga to Canada March 6th.. Does anyone have an itinerary which we could follow? We will be flying from Canada to Malaga. Would like to visit different places around, and possibly spend a few days in Barcelona and area. Which is the most economical ways to travel, things to visit, suggested time to spend in different cities?
We fly to Barcelona on the 18th of October. We have two days there to sight see. Next we are going to Girona and are biking for 6 days in Catalonia. We aren't sure where to go next. We have 5 more days left of our vacation before we fly home from Barcelona. We enjoy hiking but it may be too cold by the end of October. We would love to go to Andalucia but we are unsure because of the distance from Barcelona. Any suggestions of where we can go. We thought of Valencia since it isn't that…

Hello lovely travelers,
I am heading to Majorca, Spain at the beginning of next month and I am looking into some nice things to do. I am actually trying to stay away from the main-stream touristy things, since I want the vacation to be a little more laid-back; however, I came across some articles on the Cuevas del Drach. I am hoping to get some advice from others who have taken a tour through the caves. Was it worth your time? If you wouldn't recommend this, what would your recommend?
Going to Barcelona on business in early February, have not visited eastern Basque country, though absolutely loved Andalusia ten years ago. Enjoy art, wine and small charming towns---any suggestions for an itinerary? Would 3 - 4 days be enough with a car? We don't like to move around a lot and we don't like touristy spots. What not to be missed? Also wanting to stop in Madrid for at least a week (after Barcelona/Basque).
Any concerns about migrants etc?
I was wondering, if you buy a ticket for a train in Spain online, do you have to go to the station to exchange it for a 'real' ticket, or do you just show your print out when the ticket inspector shows up?

Now I want to plan a short trip (5 days) and spend it in a quiet place where I can relax, meet new people, and practice my Spanish. I plan on flying into Malaga and renting a car. I have earmarked Alhama de Granada based on information I have found, and looking to spend most of the time there.
I am not looking for a million activities or a busy city, I…

I'll be travelling to Madrid on Saturday and was wondering if I can purchase a Dorada card at the railway station in Barajas airport? If not, do I buy it at the ticket desk in other stations?
