Lonely Planet review
Clean, colourful, friendly, and handily placed between the bus station and city centre, Meiga has spacious bunk dorms, a good kitchen, bright lounge and a long garden. It's the top choice if you're on the budget backpacking trail. The owners also run Pensión La Bruja, 400m southwest of Praza de Galicia in the new town, which is similar in style, with another good kitchen, but has double and triple rooms instead of dorms.
Our independent authors have visited Meiga Backpackers and selected this as one of our recommended hostels in Santiago de Compostela.
