Since 1981, this ‘Cathedral of Cava’ has been a veritable Aladdin’s cave of cava, with bottles of the stuff crammed high and into every possible chaotic corner of this dimly lit locale.

    Very good wine-shopping experience

    We enjoyed lots of cava and wine during a weeklong trip Barcelona and had to bring some back to the US. Xampany is in the Eixample section of town and was a worthwhile stop on our shopping day. Ramon helped us picked out some great wines to take home with us. He was patient with our rudimentary spanish skills and let us taste some varieties so we could make the right choice.
