  1. Pick your Pintxos in Old Town San Sebastian

Blog: Travel Adventures of Newman - 16 July 2011

  4. Poker face

Blog: Send The Bugger Back - 20 November 2009

Last night I ate at Foster’s Hollywood as it was the only place that appeared to still be open at midnight. It was a bit more expensive than I normally budget for an evening meal but my ‘Director’s Cut’ bacon cheese burger was a nice treat. My good pal Steven dropped me a text while [...]

  11. Creativity At Its Best

Blog: Jamón, jamón: Alice's Gastronomic Adventures - 25 March 2009

This creation was called the toboggan, and Alice, Ian, Andrew and I all agreed that it provided the most complex and complimentary flavors of the tapas we had eaten at Aloña Berri.

  12. Sliced Potato With Foie Gras

Blog: Jamón, jamón: Alice's Gastronomic Adventures - 25 March 2009

This was my first encounter with Foie Gras which is made out of the liver of a duck or a goose that has been specially fattened. I think it is typically American to imagine anything outside of hamburger or chicken meat as scary or unappetizing.
