The city's aquarium is fairly pricey for what you get; but there is a chance to come face to face with some of the finny species that might be appearing on your plate later in the evening. There are also displays and exhibits about the Bay of Biscay.

All this is supplemented with themed exhibits on natural history, pirates, famous Basque explorers and fishing gear.
