    Museum and restaurant

    Camarero, another glass of wine and another of "boquerones" while I think about it?
    Restaurant Museo La Casa del Angel , part art gallery and repository for furniture spanning five centuries, part Moorish-Andalucian restaurant wrapped up in a fine 19th century building.
    The atmosphere is calm, you can enjoy the food while watching the art collection that have been accumulated all over the time, including works by Picasso.

    Here you can eat delicious and well prepared local dishes including a wonderful Paella or a breast of duck in a sweet sauce (magre de pato) .The Padrone keeps one of my favourite Riojas, Marques de Riscal Gran Reserva, this must be decanted so order it first with your aperitivo; try the local annis with water, a little like pernod.
