My husband and I are planning a trip to Europe in December. We are going to visit Florence, Pisa, and Bologna for a week. Then on to Lucerne, Switzerland for business. We would like to visit a couple of cities in Spain and will be there for 6 nights. We are interested in visiting historical buildings, churches, and museums. We also love to eat good food and I like to shop for those great deals. What are some recommendations for cities in Spain for us to visit? I've been told to visit Barcelona…
Hi. Will be in Seville & Valencia for a couple of day in early June, with my wife and 14-yr old son. Would love to stay at the city centre/central location and use public transport for going around the city on our own - basically visiting a few landmarks and really soaking in the city. We are currently considering the following:
1] SEVILLE: Novotel Sevilla Marques del Nervion
2] VALENCIA: Holiday Inn, Valencia
Are these choices fine or are there other hotels in the same category that we…

I am 17 and I am doing a month long trip to Spain and Portugal this September and i have been reading alot of stuff about how i need to get some paperwork including a written parental consent for the trip. For the first week of the trip i will be joined by two friends of mine one of which is 16 and the other which is 19. Is it really necessary that i get the written consent and the other paperwork i read about ? Will it be a big issue if i dont ?
Thank you in advance for any replies
Hi, I am planning to spend a few days (3 full days) in Andalusia in September or October as follows:
- Arrive and departure to and from Seville by plane;
- a couple of days to visit Seville;
- one day in Granada.
Since I have not got much time to spend there, I would like to stay in a hotel in Seville during the whole of the holiday and to move to Granada on a daily bus tour from Seville. I actually do not normally take part in organised tours, I prefer to move on my own, anyway after some…
I am hoping to get married in a lovely cortijo in Priego de Cordoba next October and was wondering if anyone knew of any caterers or flower people in the surrounding areas? Or perhaps I may have to sort it out in Malaga or Cordoba?
I've had a google but I can't see anything and was hoping that someone may have some local knowledge. We would also like some Jamon and have heard Rute is good for this, does anyone have any recommendations they would be willing to share?
Just curious about Nerja. Looking for somewhere along the coast not so "touristy" for 3-5 days. We will have a car at this point in our trip so if anything is a little out of the way it's not a problem. Also I'm a little undecided about spending time along this part of the coast or around Cadiz area. We have a total of 28 days in Spain and are spending it all in Andalucía except for a few days in Madrid, as this is where we fly in/out of. As far as being anywhere on the coast I just don't want…
Hi! My wife & i will be travelling to Spain in June with our 14-yr old son. Would like some suggestions on the best way to move from one city to another:
1] Madrid to Seville
2] Seville to Valencia
3] Valencia to Ibiza
4] Ibiza to Barcelona
Since these are not very long journeys, we wouldn't mind using the train in case there is a pass that one can get. Also is it better flying to Ibiza rather than taking the ferry.
Thanks a lot.
