A sort of culinary diaspora, Sephardic dishes contain elements of Andalucian, Turkish, Italian and North African cuisine, with such varied items as Syrian lentil salad, honeyed eggplant fritters and minas (a matzo-based vegetarian lasagna) on the menu.
