Lonely Planet review
This 16th-century palace once belonged to an aristocratic family and has been creatively renovated by a distant descendant. Rooms are furnished in country-manor style, beds are laid with soft white-lace pillows, and bathrooms have old-fashioned fixtures. A lavish breakfast is served in the loggia beside a tropically festooned pool. Everything exudes a sense of comfort and lazy learning.
Our independent authors have visited Casa de Carmona and selected this as one of our recommended historic hotels in Carmona.
