Lonely Planet review for Seoul Folk Flea Market
Relocated to a new two-storey building that already looks worn, the 1st-floor stalls at the back have a fascinating collection of artworks, collectables and general bric-a-brac. You could root through this lot for hours hunting for hidden treasures – wooden masks and ink drawings, vintage golf clubs, battered trumpets, elephant-shaped teapots, Beatles LPs, valve radio… Follow the signs from the subway station exit, it’s only a few minutes’ walk.

I could have spent the day there....eaten there too!
limegreen71 recommends this,
It was a mish mash of new and antiques and junk. Since I am an American, I know there is no bargaining with me. Some spoke English.....the vendors were all very nice. I just went Feb 2011. Big stuff is outdoors and smaller stuff indoors. It is hard to find though. Call the foreigner helpline at 1330 to get directions. There is a small green sign that says Seoul Folk Flea market right before the road you walk down. You will pass a recycling and industrial areas and then turn right, You will see a bunch of blue tents on the street.
I loved the mix of junk an gems. There are clean bathrooms, a restaurant and replicas of Korea ancient tools and such.
It is a fun day out of the cold. Bring cash!
You can also get hiking gear made there, buy new and used backpacks and sleeping bags and outdoor gear......shoes even! Knock off purses... you name it....so cool.
