Lonely Planet review for Pulhyanggi

Sit on chairs or floor cushions at this long-running, 2nd-storey restaurant where the popular attraction is the dozen or more items served up in the set meals. The mainly vegetarian sets offer traditional food such as sweet-and-sour mushrooms, sesame soup, acorn jelly, rice cakes and special teas.

    Traditional Korean Banquet

    iwys recommends this,

This is my favourite restaurant in Seoul and a great introduction to Korean food and culture for any first-time visitor to Korea. It specializes in hangjeonsik, a banquet of dishes served in wooden bowls. There are a lot. I lost count. They just keep on coming. They are mostly vegetarian and, of course, include kimchi, and every one is exquisite.

You will sit on cushions on the floor and eat with metal chopsticks from a low table, which can feel uncomfortable if you are not used to it. A tip, if you can't sit for a long period of time in the lotus position, is to extend your legs straight under the table. Nobody will ever notice, except the person sitting opposite you.

There are two set meals, priced at ₩20,000 and ₩32,000. I'd recommend the former, as there is little difference between them, apart from some very small pieces of meat.

Best of all, there are wonderful performances of traditional Korean music and dancing. Evening performances currently start at 8pm.
