Lonely Planet review
New Kukje is anything but new, and the rooms are as tired-looking and old-fashioned as the lobby. The hotel is popular with Japanese tour groups, who presumably receive discounts, and there’s a certain staying-at-gran’s ambience. Steam in the sauna or sample a buffet spread, but the only reason to stay here is its location – within spitting distance of City Hall’s backside.
Our independent authors have visited New Kukje Hotel and selected this as one of our recommended hotels in Myeong-dong, Namsan & Itaewon.
