Lonely Planet review
This downtown version of the Guesthouse Korea operation has the same rough and tumble interior that seems to define the budget backpacker guesthouse experience in Seoul.
This busy but low-key guesthouse's best feature is proximity to tourist sites, like Changdeok palace. Though the twin option at first glance might appear pricey, Guesthouse Korea has several advantages including low cost for single travellers, free access to a washing machine (hang dry on the roof) and opportunities to socialise with a thoroughly international crowd. It doesn't seem to have the same daytime chillin' feel as other guesthouses, but this may be due to the central location that makes it easy for travellers to get out and see the sites.
Our independent authors have visited Guesthouse Korea and selected this as one of our recommended hostels in Seoul.
