Getting there & away

The same ferries serve Heuksando, 90km west of Mokpo, and Hongdo, another 20km further on. Leaving from Mokpo’s Ferry Terminal 1 (243 2111), ferries run to Heuksando (adult/child one way W26, 700/5750, 1½ hours, three daily) and continue on to Hongdo (adult/child one way W32, 600/5750, 2¼ hours).
