Everland Amusement Park
This world-class amusement park, less than an hour southeast of Seoul by bus, has four separate parts. The more than 150 thatched and tiled Korean traditional houses and buildings in this village take all day to explore thoroughly. Go back to the time when long-haired aristocrats in horse-hair hats ruled their wives, concubines and slaves with a rod of iron. Soak up the special atmosphere of a Buddhist temple, experience the austerity of a Confucian shrine and relax in a jovial traditional market. Incheon Landing Memorial Monument Hall
The Incheon Landing Memorial Monument Hall is in Songdo. Old newsreel films of the Korean War reveal the ugly reality of modern warfare. Sixteen countries sent troops or medical units to help South Korea, and 70,000 UN and South Korean troops took part in the surprise landing in Incheon in 1950, supported by 260 warships.
