Land

Bus

Departures from Samcheok’s express bus terminal include Seoul Gangnam (W13, 100, four hours, every 1½ hours) and Taebaek (W4300, 70 minutes, every 15 minutes).

The intercity bus schedule almost mirrors the Donghae schedule.

Train

The train schedule is the same as the Donghae schedule, although trains from Seoul arrive in Samcheok about 15 minutes earlier.
