Local buses (W1000, 35 minutes, every 40 minutes) leave from outside Chungju bus terminal to Suanbo Hot Springs. Intercity buses depart from Suanbo bus terminal to destinations such as Daegu (W11, 800, three hours, six daily) and Dong-Seoul (W9900, 2½ hours, hourly).
