Itinerary
Day 1 Buenos Aires
Launch into buzzing Buenos Aires on an orientation walk. At night, perhaps feast on a famous Argentine steak or sit back at a streetside cafe or bar with a glass of Mendoza Malbec.
Days 2-3 El Calafate/Perito Moreno Glacier
Fly south to El Calafate, the gateway to the Argentinean Glacier National Park on the shores of Lago Argentino. Admire one of the world's few advancing glaciers, and one the most beautiful of Argentina's attractions.
Days 4-6 El Chalten/Glacier National Park/El Calafate
Hike in Glacier National Park and see magnificent peaks like Cerro Fitz Roy or the majestic spire of the 3,128 m Cerro Torres rising out of the misty valley.
Day 7-9 Torres del Paine National Park
Trek through Chile's dramatic granite pillars, sparkling lakes, stunning glaciers, gushing waterfalls and herds of wild guanacos in Chilean Patagonia.
Day 10 Punta Arenas
Continue south to Punta Arenas, Chile's closest city to the end of the world. Be sure to sample some seafood dishes - said to be the finest in Chile.
Day 11-13 Ushuaia
Cross the border into Argentina and visit the world's southernmost city, Ushuaia. Cruise along the Beagle Channel to watch the marine wildlife playing along the shores of the small islands.
Day 14-15 Buenos Aires
Relax over a glass of vino back in Buenos Aires or wander through the elegant Argentinean boulevards.
